On July 11, 2025, VINACS joyfully welcomed the inaugural flight of Ethiopian Airlines, connecting Hanoi and Addis Ababa. This event not only opens up enhanced transportation links but also promises to boost tourism, trade, and cultural exchange between the two regions. It marks a new milestone for Ethiopian Airlines, introducing its first regular route in Vietnam with a frequency of four weekly flights.

Established in 1945, Ethiopian Airlines is Africa’s leading airline and has been a Star Alliance Connecting Partner since 2011. The airline currently serves nearly 200 domestic and international destinations across five continents, operating a modern fleet of 150 aircraft, including wide-body Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners and Africa’s first Airbus A350-900 XWB and A350-1000.
Following a rigorous evaluation process covering all aspects—operational safety, food safety, product and service quality, workforce competency, technological equipment, and quality management systems - Ethiopian Airlines selected VINACS as its in-flight catering service provider at Noi Bai International Airport. This decision is a testament to the trust customers place in VINACS’s product and service quality.
At 1:00 PM on July 11, 2025, flight ET0679 landed at Noi Bai International Airport amidst a vibrant and festive welcome. The catering process proceeded smoothly, earning praise for professionalism and service quality from the flight crew and ET experts, further validating VINACS’s commitment to excellence.
