On July 8 and 9, 2025, Vietnam Air Catering Services Joint Stock Company (VINACS) partnered with Bureau Veritas (BV) to conduct its periodic surveillance audit of the ISO 22000:2018 Food Safety Management System. This audit took place under the supervision of Vietnam’s National Quality Accreditation Office (BoA) – the sole national accreditation body under the National Standards, Metrology and Quality Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology, which oversees all certification activities of Bureau Veritas Vietnam.
ISO 22000:2018 is the international benchmark for food safety management systems. During the two day audit, the BV assessment team rigorously examined VINACS’s compliance with every requirement of the standard, from the traceability and verified origin of raw materials to robust risk assessment and preventive control plans; from the preventive maintenance of infrastructure and equipment to comprehensive training programs that ensure every member of the production team is fully competent.
The audit results confirmed that VINACS not only meets but continues to uphold the stringent requirements of ISO 22000:2018. Our processes—whether in sourcing ingredients with clear, verifiable origins or in rapidly isolating and managing productions—consistently guarantee food safety at every step. The BV auditors praised VINACS’s proactive stance and unwavering diligence in maintaining the system, highlighting especially our ongoing efforts to refine procedures and deepen employee awareness in food production activities.
Holding and renewing this ISO certificate is more than formal recognition: it embodies VINACS’s deep commitment to our clients and end users. It underscores our pledge to continuous improvement, driving us always to enhance our practices and rise to meet the ever heightening expectations of all stakeholders in the food production and catering industry.
