In order to prevent Covid-19 with Hanoi City, Thang Long Aviation Service Joint Stock Company and member units of Vietnam Catering Services will serve 50,000 free meals at some centralized isolation areas.
On March 19 afternoon, the first meals were transported by Taseco to the quarantine facility, which is Phap Van - Tu Hiep residental area for students (Hoang Mai District).
Lunch and dinner are provided daily. The dishes on the menu are all nutritious and food hygiene and safety according to ISO 22000. There are hot dishes, fruits, tea or cakes, fresh vegetable salad, spring water and accompanying utilities (spice packages, cutlery, toothpicks, pepper, salt, wet tissues) in every meal. Meals for children are processed separately according to international standards, including meals for children under 2 years old; meals for children from 2 to 12 years old.

The menu is diversely designed, changing daily for the citizens in the isolated area. Meals are packed in specialized kits for airline catering, which can be used only once to facilitate cleaning and to limit reuse and to disinfect tools after using.
Meals will be packed and shipped by VINACS from the factory to the isolation facility by specialized vehicles and will be delivered directly to the division in charge of the isolation facility. This will make sure hot meals will stay warm until used.
Vehicles specializing in transporting edible meals will be sprayed to disinfect the whole car and the trunk to ensure safety and hygiene before serving the next meal.
VINACS also strictly adheres to the principles of labor protection and sterilization. VINACS delivery staff are equipped with medical gloves and disposable medical masks. After each transport, vehicles will be disinfected spraying the entirely, including the trunk to ensure safety and hygiene before serving the next meal.
This is one of the practical actions, contributing to sharing with the Hanoi People's Committee and the whole country in the ongoing prevention of Covid-19 disease.
Community and social responsibility is one of the core values that Taseco always strives for. In addition to supporting 50,000 meals for some quarantine areas in Hanoi City, the catering plant in Cam Ranh also serves free for the forces of the authorities who are carrying out the epidemic prevention in Cam Ranh International Airport.
